Im abgeschiedenen Spiti Valley auf 3800 Höhenmeter soll ein Wohnheim für Lehrer entstehen, um dem Lehrermangel entgegenzuwirken. In Spiti Valley herrschen raue Bedingungen. Der Winter dauert 6 Monate und isoliert das Tal im Himalayagebirge fast nahezu für ein halbes Jahr. Die einfachen Lehmhütten werden mit Kanonenöfen und Kuhdung geheizt.
